As we close out September, Suicide Awareness Month, I want to highlight an important tool QHSLab offers to help providers identify patients who may be at risk of self-harm.
How the Tool Works
Our digital health assessment screens patients for depression and related risk factors. If the responses indicate that a patient is at high risk, the system immediately triggers an Imminent Risk Alert.
- For the patient: They receive a report right away, including contact numbers for immediate support.
- For the provider: A text message and email notification are sent instantly, ensuring you have the critical information needed to act without delay.
Why It Matters
We are proud to share that QHSLab has already helped providers identify dozens of high-risk patients. These timely alerts allow care teams to intervene, take the right steps, and—most importantly—potentially save lives.
A Tool That Supports Clinical Decisions
QHSLab’s mission is to equip providers with tools that:
- Improve clinical decision-making
- Enhance patient engagement
- Deliver better outcomes
